The Science Behind R-110

THOM Smart Wall uses 8 layers of aerospace-grade insulation material - the same technology used in spacecraft and fighter jets. Unlike traditional mineral wool or fibreglass, this engineered foam maintains its thermal resistance over 50+ years without settling or degradation.

The integrated service cavity design eliminates thermal bridging - cold paths through metal frames that traditional walls suffer. Every millimetre of the panel is insulation-optimized.

Result: A U-value of 0.032 W/m²K that exceeds the UK Future Homes Standard 2025 (0.18 maximum) by a factor of 5.63×.
